ServSafe is the standard for food safety certifications. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is the highest certification offered. It satisfies South Carolina's requirement to become a Certified Food Protection Manager and focus on five aspects of food safety:
● Foodborne microorganisms and allergens
● Personal hygiene
● Purchasing, receiving, and storage
● Preparing, cooking, and serving
● Facilities, cleaning/sanitation, and managing pests
