Students who participated in CTE's summer reading program received a special treat this week. During the summer, students were asked to read a book on their grade level and answer comprehension questions on a reading log. Upon completion, students were invited to a reading celebration on the tenth day of the new school year. These children selected a brand new book to read and received a tote bag full of reading-themed goodies. The students also enjoyed cold popsicles to celebrate their love of reading on this hot day.
